Color Matches for Reading Bee Line Engines

I have come into possession of a Life Like C424, which I have successfully denuded of it's Canadian Pacific livery (sorry Puddington!) in the hopes of painting it into the green and cream yellow of the Reading Company. 
The yellow used by Kato on their SD45's looks too yellow to my eye.  I wonder if anyone could offer a suggestion for the right shades of yellow and green.  I prefer not to use Floquil paints, but I do have a bottle of their airbrush thinner, so it's not out of the question.

I'll be breaking out the old airbrush I have for the first time in about 15 years on this one.  So tips on mixing, masking, spraying and cleanup would also be helpful.

I would go with polyscale, I have not used the Reading colors as of yet but everything else I have used is a good match (at least to my eye).

I use windex (or off brand) as a flow agent (as well as as for cleaning) for airbrushing polyscale, it flows out nice and you can really keep the paint 'thin' enought to keep those N Scale details.

Masking; I use TAMIYA Masking Tape for details and 3/4 inch blue painters tape for coverage beyond that. I have experimented with masking gels but really havent given them ample testing to say yea or nay.

Clean your gun after each and every use, that is a golden rule that was pounded in my head. (I was a painters helper/production painter all of my teens). Treat your equipment like a $4.00 cup of coffee and it will serve you well.

I used PS RDG yellow/white in about a 4:1 mix, and RDG Green/MEC Green about 3:1. Like you said, the Kato yellow is a little intense. You can see the result here:
