Is it just me, or are the patched holes along the side of this gon left over from the days when gons used to carry cement containers?

Tom, there were still four of those box motors around in 1960, although I don't think they'd turned a wheel in a half century then. Believe they all went to  museums. The warehouse behind it is part of Bush Terminal. There was an article on modeling the Bush Terminal in Model Railroad Planning either last year or the year before.

Don't know about N scale, but Athearn has that car in HO scale.

The Intermountain PS 5277cf boxcar looks the closest, just going by the side views. The door would have to be changed.

By the looks of that frog , the inside wheel may be totally flangless , which would mean the outside wheel would need to be flanged on both sides .

Probably close enough for Government work as they say. The GMRC box car has a 5344 cu. ft. capacity.
