Also, the front light, rear light and aux pads are on the bottom of the board and do not have resisters associated with them. See this tread for detailed
OK I think I may just pull the TCS boards in them now and custom hardwire a small lokpilot. Sound isn't too important and I wished ESU would have made a non sound board in the same foot print.
The only "de-sounded" narrow-board ESU produced so far was when they took a LokSound V4 73199 and made it into LokPilot V4 54650. But the footprint is different from the 58751. However according to the description it should fit some IM models. Unfortunately, it is out of production.https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=44324.msg569570#msg569570
Won't fit the older tunnels. already confirmed that the width is narrower and won't align with the frame tabs.Like I said this is a dead end and I'll probably just hard wire a 59816 with some of the SBS SMD LED boards for lights.Maybe even a look at Zimo.
Zimo doesn't make those types of light-board replacement decoders, but if you want a wired-in decoder ZIMO's motor control is on par or even better than ESU.
It's going right over your head. I am not going to do a light board replacement. There will be no light board. Just the decoder wired to screws in the frame and motor tabs. Don't get stuck on a replacement board!
I was confused by the last response as well.
If you mean me, I'm sorry. Hopefully I clarified my answer. My brain seems to work differently from most people.
