FVM ES44AC Problem

If someone already posted about this, I apologize.  Unit on track has lights come on in both directions but motor doesn't turn?  Dc.  With shell off, I can turn motor by finger but does not turn by itself with power.  I'm sure its something simple, but I'm not finding it.  There are Gurus on here that can probably fix it in seconds.  Thanks

First of all I have never really tried troubleshooting engines.  Haven't really had too.(Lucky I guess).  I am afraid of breaking things.  I really wanted this engine so it pushed me to try.  I feel kinda dumb because I don't know much about the insides.  Enough of my sad story.

This tab was the culprit.  Couldn't see behind the copper strip attached to the c-board.  The tab was not making contact.  I didnt see it until I pulled c-board out.  I dont think that would happen during shipping.

I thought this tab was the problem until I put it back in place and it still didn't work.

Supposed to be a action pic but you can't really tell its moving.  Glad it was a simple fix.

Thanks for the follow up. Looks like you have successfully completed your first troubleshooting session.  :)  Even simple fixes are good to document.
