Thanks - I'm kinda "stoked" about these - are these ACF prototype?

I'm in for SOUTHERN, UCOX, and NKP at a minimum.

Nice to see those ballast cars coming to N.

I'll have to grab the grey CR ones.

From what I understand Bowser's model is ACF's standard design for 1958 cuft hoppers, with Kato closer to GATC's clone. One of more recent RPCs goes into detail if someone could speak to those.

Oh my - NKP 70T ACF  hoppers!  My old Kato & Deluxe Innovations cars will have companions!

Minor nit - they artwork shows the "swinging R", which would put them closer to WWII (I see a 1941 NEW date on the car).

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

You mean like this?  Exactly 60 seconds of searching

There are also decals you can use to model various LNE boxcar schemes:

But...  back on topic, these Bowser covered hoppers with square hatches look really nice!  ACF prototypes

And Atlas, and Red Caboose. There's probably more L&NE boxcars in N Scale then the prototype had!

These hoppers are very exciting, a few will find there way to me and hopefully more schemes to come... this is a near endless well of prototypes.

Glad to see they are doing variations of the ACF 70T car-  both the 'open' and 'closed' center triangle (I forget the 'official' terminology).  A lot of roads had both.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.
