I have come to love Anime for it's deep philosophy and esoteric vale. Also it's great fun pretending your still fifteen years old, wild and care free. And novelty in Anime goes a long way. There are some rail themed Aimee, but I cannot vouch how gratuitous. Excuse me while I wait for my train to arrive so I can eat
I mean besides Rail Wars are there any others? Most off the top of my head is all secondary or just for a couple scenes. That said I do have quite a few Girl Und Panzer containers and an EMU.
You have to understand the Japanese mind set and their culture. It's hard to describe. Here's an example. You're riding the Tokyo Metro. Seated across the aisle is an older distinguished looking gentleman, dressed in a business suit trim and proper. On his lap is a nice looking leather briefcase like bag. He can easily look like a CEO of a company. In his hand is a 1" thick paperback book and you realize he's reading a manga/anime book. You would have gone WTF?BTW, this really happened when I was there two weeks ago.Edit: it wouldn't surprise me if I find this guy at a train shop looking at those motorized sushi pieces.
and I would very much like to return and undertake an extensive Japanese rail-based exploration.
Yes, Train to the end of the World (Shuumarsu Train Doko e Iku?) is one that came out this year, and GreenMax is doing the two car set soon.Galaxy Express 999.... Is a trip. Literally. In space. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress can be informative. It's industrial revolution era type stuff... with "Zombies" Rail Romanesque is.... Well... Trains as anime girls. They are shorts and not full episodes per se.Mugen Train I guess? If you are into Demon Slayer. Though the locomotive does look identical to the 8620... Not really much like Rail Wars
oh that is sooo awesome! love it! All it needs is to go into a tunnel shaped like an open mouth Ed
I'm quite sensitive about what I watch, but the format itself has proved therapeutic to me on many levels, just as much as crafting models.Violet Evergarden has improbable but cool train scenes.Hakumei & Mikochi has a long train ride. For people only 6'' tall, it must scale out to about 5'' gauge! So large scale Jap brass could be used to cross Japan! I'd totally use a Godzilla shrink ray to get small enough for a ride.Steins Gate is excellent, with a bit of metro. Think I would like to go visit if I could. Cat girl Cafe's
That's *SO DARN CUTE*! I used to think that Thomas & Friends was cutesy, but those take it three or four levels higher! Are those cuties powered, or just rolling stock? Rapido couplers rock!
