Remove WS Flex Paste From Unitrack

I recently used Woodland Scenics Flex Paste to create a winter railroad scene for a Christmas n scale layout. I was not happy with the results, so I pulled up all of the Unitrack. But now I have white Flex Paste on the sides of the track pieces. How do I remove it so I can reuse the track? I have tried soaking in hot soapy water, and cleaning with mineral spirits and paint thinner. So far nothing has worked. I can find nothing on the WS website or in their product FAQ's that addresses removal. If it was simply a matter of color I could just repaint the track, but the FP has built up in clumps and raised surfaces.

Has anyone had success removing it? Thanks.

Found this by doing a google search.
Here are some ways to remove Woodland Scenics Flex Paste:
Before it cures:
Acetone or mineral spirits
Use these to remove most residues, clean application tools, or remove Flex Paste that hasn't fully cured.
Sharp tool
Once Flex Paste has fully cured, use a sharp tool like a chisel or putty knife to remove it.
Clean, dry cloth
If Flex Paste gets on your skin, wipe it off immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use water.
Here are some tips for removing Flex Paste:
Before using acetone or any other solvents, test it on a small area of the surface first.
Follow all safety precautions, including avoiding open flames and using protective eyewear.
For metal, use a damp rag and acetone.
For wood, fabric, or carpets, use mineral spirits.
For the body of a vehicle, use a small amount of toluene.

I would strongly suggest not using acetone on plastic roadbed track.

That post looks like AI tbh.

Yeah, like dem34 stated those instructions appear to be AI-generated, and we know that AI is not quite ready for prime time.
