Some really nice new and updated Z scale products here!   Announcement

(I hope I'm not stealing anyone's thunder but this looked too good to sit on.)

I would've appreciated your stealing the thunder, actually. Not to be snarky, but I don't do announcement vids on YT. Why take - in this case - 20 minutes out of my day for something where the words could be read in one minute or less?

I sent in my order for some of the FBOX and GATX cars, and I will be keeping an eye out for additional road names and paint schemes.

Nowadays I watch all YTs on the Brave browser -- not only can I skip ahead, but Brave is also pretty good at bypassing YT's hyper-aggressive, in-your-face ad serving (::vomit::).   (I can't otherwise watch even my own posted videos without YT trying to shove ads down my throat... never used to be that way, bu I digress).

At times the announcement videos had better production quality and there was useful contextual information included.   This latest one was pretty patched together and lacked important information IMHO, like certain timeframes for products and far fewer images showing artwork and schemes.

The good news for me is the "no news".   Given the upcoming (date still unclear) GE diesels (Dash 9's and AC44's) I'm not disappointed in nothing for me.   It's not *nothing*, but it could have been much worse.  I'm in for probably 10-12 of the FBOX cars, and the two BNSF Patched GP30's.   The tank cars may end up being a bigger problem than I anticipate...the video shows the more recent crude cars with the head shields which are too new for me.  But AZL states they are doing them without too, which also can be good stand-ins for ethanol cars which is my interest.  So how that plays out might leave a mark to do a unit ethanol train.   But no rumored AutoMax cars, and no reruns of bethgons, PS2CDs, autoracks, et al.   So I can probably absorb a lot of this announcement's budget hit unless those GE's show up earlier than a previously suggested late 2025.

Still, some neat stuff continuing to be delivered by AZL so that's always fun even if it isn't something on my wish list.

In the video there is a list of details for the F3 and it shows the road name "Erie", but he is holding one decorated for EL. EL is not on the list. So does Erie mean Erie Lackawanna?

I would assume EL as the bay window caboose they showed was also EL.

I have a question on the CNJ F3.  Is it the green/pale yellow scheme or the tangerine and blue scheme?

They haven't released artwork yet.  Hans says they are having trouble with the color for the Clinchfield F7's.    (any Clinchfield experts out there?)
