I don't see anything about these on either the Kato or Woodland Scenics websites ...

https://www.nscalesupply.com/kat/kat-kat-wsjp-vehicles.html

Really crappy photos, but one of the cars resembles a current generation Mazda Miata.

Somewhat troubling to me is that these are 1:150, which continues what seems to be a trend of relaxing the line between 1:150 and 1:160. I know there are those who say there's hardly a difference between the two but, to me, the differences are huge.

100% Agreed. I refuse to buy 1:150 vehicles. They are 6.7% larger than true N scale - for example, a car with a 103" wheelbase  (2000 Honda Civic) becomes a 110" wheelbase vehicle (almost the same as a 2025 Toyota Camry).

Tomix or Tomytec made a really nice 1:150 Datsun 240Z (I was soooo tempted), but using it on a 1:160 layout takes it from a wheelbase of ~91" to ~97" - very significant.

Wheelbase is just one aspect of course.

I am guessing they are right hand drive.

That is more annoying to me than the 150/160 issue particularly if the "driver" is visible.
