When Mark gets a hold of one, he will do a full review it on http://spookshow.net/locos.html .

Can Rick tell me if it's got a single or dual headlight?

Dual headlight. Same as it has always been.

i@reinhardtjh , if I'm undertanding your post correctly, there shouldn't be any difference between the silver and gold versions that I'm aware of.

I was just commenting about what I might have to do to make a chop nose version like the RS-3m/u since the PC board tends to stick into the nose area.  I don't expect any difference other that the decoder might mount such that it sticks out far enough to interfere with the chop nose.  I was assuming the right side of the photo was the nose, but Peteski pointed out it was the left side where the speaker is.  So I might have to see if I can cut the PC board just to the right of the speaker and mount it somewhere else.

Whose decoders come in the DCC/Sound models?

ESU.
They have an RS2/RS3 sound file as well.  But there are dozens of bell and horn sounds to fully cover the prototype, so you have to do your research for the railroad of choice.
