The model is injection molded plastic with over 100 free-standing plastic detail parts, and etched brass roofwalk and brake platform. Both builder variations, Magor and PC&F, are represented and utilized based on the prototype. These cars ride at the prototypically-correct height above the rails, on InterMountain ASF A-3 50-ton friction-bearing trucks fitted with low-profile metal wheelsets. The model is equipped with body-mounted Kadee© Quality Products #148 whisker couplers and Hi-Tech Details air hoses. The roads/schemes in our second release are: Bangor and Aroostook red repaint with large herald, two numbers; New Haven repaint with block herald, two numbers; Penn central, two numbers; Conrail patch-out, one number; and Okee Industruce, one number.
Reservations open through
December 31, 2024. The tentative release date is 4th quarter of 2025, MSRP is TBA. Any item that does not meet the minimum reservation threshold will be postponed until a later release. As with the first release, thee road numbers will not be reissued and the items will be discontinued when sold out.
