Moose Creek Trees

Anyone ever use these? I'm building my large Z scale layout and they look decent and would save me months of making my own. I need 300- 400 trees so I'm thinking buy once cry once.
Would you spend $400 on trees alone?

After all the time and effort I have put into making trees of similar appearance, I would say this is still too high for my budget.  Mind you, I probably need 1000+ trees and they are about $1.50 CDN each on Etsy adds up to a lot of hobby $$.  The lack of smaller than 3" is also a factor for me.

But if I needed <100, hard to argue about the cost vs. quality.  They look excellent.

JTT trees are great at Hobby Lobby and sometimes they have clearance sales on them or the 100 trees for 19.99 from China can
work if you doctor them. Daryl Kruse is using Woodland Scenic trees and foliage to reduce costs on a massive layout. Here are a few
pics of "unaltered" out-of-the-box trees from JTT and the big box from Scenic Express. The tree in the one shot with the pliers is
Scene Master trees from Walthers.

I made a few orders of these for a total of 830 trees and have pics but not able to post them up because I don't have enough posts I guess.

I thought 300- 400 would be enough but decided to go big and be done with it.
