Does anyone know of stls for boxcar rooves? I've just acquired an Athearn NACC car and it's probably easier for me to print up a new roof than find one for sale.

For some reason, there are dozens of European freight cars available, usually for FREE, but the few US prototypes I have found are junk (won't print/bad design). I really wish that there was some way to have a print file that limits how many times you can print it or it identified who the original designer was (maybe on the inside?). Most people won't share their designs because all too often, they end up finding them for sale by someone else without any credit to the original designer....

Exactrail used to have what you need before Scale Trains bought the company out. A 3D printed roof all by itself would be tricky to print because the part would be very thin yet relatively tall.
