Short cab switcher? Interesting. What was the reason - low clearance switching?

Nice.  New Haven had similar cabs on their switchers, I think for catenary clearance.

Indeed, I am modeling a New Haven S2. The cab design is almost done now, I just need to add rivets. I'm not sure what I will do for the windows. Also the rear light is lower now and I'm not sure the original light tune will fit anymore, so I may need to install a new LED. The speaker occupies the cab and there was only just enough room in the original for the light above it.
