Just dropped in the inbox - Southern high hoods, B units included:

Quote
As mentioned, our Rivet Counter series GP30 model renders numerous variations of cabs, dynamic brakes, doors, grilles, trucks, etc. We’ve also incorporated LED lighting effects including front and rear headlights and auxiliary lighting like Mars or Gyra Lights. Roadnames with ditch lights will be available in future runs. This initial run features classic roadnames with the addition of Southern Railway 2601, preserved at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer.
Roadnames and paint schemes:
•   Chicago & North Western/”OY” Scheme
•   Chicago & North Western/”OY” Scheme Repaint
•   CSX/RDMT Road Slug/Stealth “G”
•   Rio Grande/Small Flying Lettering
•   Rio Grande/Large Billboard Lettering
•   Pennsylvania Railroad
•   Southern/Dulux
•   Southern/North Carolina Transportation Museum #2601
•   Union Pacific/Dependable Transportation GP30A
•   Union Pacific/Dependable Transportation Freight GP30B
•   Union Pacific/Dependable Transportation Passenger GP30B
All Rivet Counter N Scale locomotives are available as DC/DCC ready with the E24 connector or with ESU LokSound 5™ Nano decoder and a cube-type speaker.

Finally a ready to run high hood GP30 in N scale.  My wallet will need counselling, but at least it’ll give me time to save up for them.

When they do the second run, they can do KCS white so I can add one to my old Atlas and Roco units.

I'm really surprised about the B units, nobody ever does those.

@C855B

Save your pennies

Already ordered one of every UP number.

I'm really surprised about the B units, nobody ever does those.

I think Athearn did in HO (of course!), and I have three Hallmark brass versions. UP "classic era" modelers are everywhere.

They need to slow down.

Thank goodness no ATSF in this run.  Or SP.  Or BN.  Or patched stuff.

No NKP either (phew!) If the ever do, and do it right (no DB, horizontal low nose light, bell in the middle of the low nose) it's gonna hurt.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Hopefully Soo Line is on their radar for a future run. It's a gigantic hole in my roster considering how important they were.

Probably grab a couple CNW units and some UP to recreate this Rock Island goodness.

Oh man...

Time to prepare the modeling resource packet for the CGW GP30s.

Black walkways or red walkways...  Black walkways or red walkways...  Black walkways or red walkways???

This is going to be a tough call.  :P

Very cool. Not for me, unless they do a CR unit at some point, or CP in the multmark, but those D&RGW one's do tempt me...
