By coincidence, the Nickel Plate and New York Central cars have a 1949 built date and a re-weigh (not repainted) date of 1954. Not only do they have the end corrugation detail on the inside face as well, but the concave dents on the inside faces of the side sheets match the convex dents on the outside faces.

Thanks Craig!  Ok, I'm in for a few.  Hope these are successful and you all get inspired to do more paint schemes and body styles as time goes on.  On the dates....1954 is fine by me, my cutoff is 1956.

Scale length, accurate ends, and dents... impressive models.

Keep up the good work.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

A lightly-dented Conrail for me I think.

Can't wait for the rivet counters to start analyzing if the dents are in the correct place for the car numbers used.

Blueford comes up with something genuinely new, saving small screwdrivers from overheating on soldering irons on workbenches throughout the N scale world.

Are these dented models 3-D printed or injection molded plastic?  Didn't Bluford produce some 3-D printed cars in the past?  If they are injection molded then that's impressive.

Bryan had some really nice trailers on offer as kits. I have a handful as round to its with some of Randy's for a detailed Super C consist.

And back from the drift. Manufacturers just keep finding new ways to drain my wallet these days. In for 6 in CR when the paycheck rolls around.

Oh Man!...I'll definitely be getting some of these with build dates before my cut-off of Dec 31 1956 in various states of dented-ness!!

What a great idea!!

And, I am definitely a rivet-counter and I don't give a crap about the size and placement of the dents....so cut the denigrating remarks out!

Cheerio!

Very creative.  I love the idea of this, and sorry they are too old for my era.  If they (or someone else) do some modern gons similarly, my wallet is going to be thinner.  From the artwork, it appears that weathering is also included, which of course, makes sense.

I also vaguely remember that it is possible to "dent" gons using a low temp hair dryer or something similar.  My brother did that way back when and I think it worked out, but it seems dangerous to me now!
