I ordered everything just to be able to run it complete, but honestly more excited abut the cars themselves. Quite a few are interchangeable on the MILW/UP/SP City trains.

I'm gonna assume this train still had mixed Orange and Maroon cars until they were all painted Armour Yellow.

Also, its too bad they didnt take the chance to rerun MILW E9s A or Bs in Armour Yellow.

Attempting to model a modern Southern Pacific based in 2015/2016...

Also, I have a passenger train addiction...

Use some cars to combine with UP releases for a Cities train, that would be good for your FP45's.

But, the Olympian Hi was discontinued in 1961 and the FP45's were delivered in 1967-ish.

I hope they fix the lettering before they actually release the train; all that red lettering should have black outlines around it.....

I wonder when Kato will pull the trigger on the Little Joe.
Kato spokesman told me years ago that they already had the drawings for it.

Olympian Hi fans and all Milw Rd fans would be happy.

They confirmed it will be corrected.  I reached out to Leon.

Yellow. Everything says "post 1955 scheme", which is when MILW adopted the UP yellow & gray for joint passenger operations.

Pre-ordered mine, I have been waiting for this ever since it was hinted at. Looking forward to mixing these with Kato COLA and Railsmith cars for City of Portland and San Francisco trains.

Hello,

does anyboday know if some (or all) cars can be used in early Amtrak trains?

E.g. the North Coast Hiawatha? Or the Cannonball (not an Amtrak train)?

Cheers
