Anchor bridge!  Someday.   :D

I actually have all of the transformers, circuit breakers and semaphore signals already.  Just need to etch the frame, ladders and walkway.

One advantage of modeling the Milwaukee - their overhead was MUCH simpler.

Actually, the GN used the same voltage and frequency as the PRR/NH, and THEIR overhead was much simpler.  In fact, other than larger insulators and only one trolley wire, much of it looked very much like the MILW's

More caboose action this week.  This is an old Robert Ray kit that I have had for years of the Northern Pacific 1600 series caboose.  I made a few minor alterations.  Off to the paint booth.

It took me until March, but my New Year's Resolution was to post more here instead of just reading everything.  So with that, I kind of forced my hand a little by starting a new thread in the Layout Engineering section.  :D

This week, I finally got around to starting the scenery on one section of the layout.  Still lot's of little details to add along with more trees, but it's off to a good start for now.

The pink foam that is on this side of the tracks will get finished once I decide how far down to drop the fascia.  I'm leaning towards covering it all the way down to block out the staging level (it's still accessible from the other side), but not 100% sure yet.

**Just ignore the tape on the cab door of 5652.  Somehow I missed removing it after weathering it.... :facepalm:

I hardly noticed the pink foam,  that PINK hopper, well that is a different matter !

I still haven't tracked down why Halliburton (HWCX) painted 9 of their 2-Bays like that.  I thought it was for cancer awareness, but can't confirm that through any sources.
