March 2024 New Releases Part 1

SD70ACE – Union Pacific – Spirit of Union Pacific!



The new run of SD70ACEs are here! And we are going to start up strong with Union Pacific’s “Spirit of Union Pacific” livery. This is one special livery dedicated to supporting our troops! It will be sure to stand out on your layout!

AZL’s SD70ACEs include directional controlled LED lighting, blackened metal wheels, traction tires, AZL AutoLatchTM couplers pre-installed front pilots/plows, and optional truck with coupler.


EMD SD40-2 – Canadian Pacific!



There are three different road numbers to choose from.

64206-1 CP SD40-2 5606 Multimark
64206-2 CP SD40-2 5608 Multimark
64206-3 CP SD40-2 5620 Multimark

The SP version features these specific details:

After the release of the Rio Grande SD40T-2, we realized you could use a caboose to go with them! Two road numbers are available.

AZL – Z Panzer – M88 recovery vehicles

AZL and Z Panzer have teamed up again to offer M88 recovery vehicles. These are being sold as a set of two. The are available in your choice of olive green, sand or NATO paint. A separately applied plow is included. The boom can raise and lower.

If there is time to correct the CP sd40s they shouldn't have a black roof. It should be Action Red all the way back, the only black is the non glare on the nose.
They just wound up looking that way because of tunnel soot.

Otherwise its a decent representation.

*****, I could use some of those M88s in N. They built them in a plant that's an almost on line customer of my layout (served via a local that heads into staging).

Interesting. I could change the listing to state the locos are 'weathered'. :)

But dang... that is some black!!!
