Want to learn how to hand lay N scale track and turnouts

Are there any other N scale modelers in the Greater Pittston (Pa) area who are willing to teach a disabled veteran who is looking to learn as much as possible around? I'd love to learn how to hand-lay track, where to source materials, how to make metal sanctions and handrails for locomotives etc. I am pretty decent with an airbrush but would like to learn how to apply decals flawlessly as well as well as learn as much as possible. I am willing to help you build whatever you're working on (my cost is me learning) with my main limitation being I am a disabled veteran and I never know how I am going to be feeling in a couple of hours, let alone days, weeks etc.

If interested, please send me an email kbonanny at gee male dot com. I live on Westminster Rd in Jenkins, 2 miles from the casino in Plains Twp. I do hope to hear from others.

   Thanks for your time!

Welcome to the forum Kirk.

I live on the Gulf Coast but I think there are are a sizeable number of N scalers around Pittsburgh.

I don't live in PA anymore, but so nobody gets confused, Pittston is not near Pittsburgh.  It's up in the ne corner of PA, near Scranton.

LOL.  Thanks Max.  If it'snot in the deep south, I may not know where it is.

Not exactly what you are asking for, but are you aware of this resource?  https://handlaidtrack.com/?v=7516fd43adaa  They have lots of how-to information, for example.  Used to be videos, but can't find them ATM; maybe on Youtube?
