I reworked one of my earliest 3D designs, a Procor aluminum sodium chlorate car. Major changes were made on the inside by adding a 10x40mm compartment for holding weight. On the outside I added weld lines (.07x.07mm!) and support for the walkway railings. The test print below came out good. I need to adjust the print angle and supports for "production" versions.

Added surface mount LED lighting to the Calcifer I mine to get a better view while loading coal, and a slide switch on the fascia to turn them on and off. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

I've been working on a FineNScale kit for a PRR X29. Added a bit of detailing for bits that were damaged. Tried not to go too overboard. Waiting on a paint delivery.

Rapid fire since I forget to post things I work on.
3d Printer acting up so put aside T gauge stuff and dug an old layout out of the well pump room.
2 little Craftsman buildings I picked up at train shows. The shed is Mud Creek Models which went together painlessly. The Nick and Nora Luncheon less so. Owing to paper thin walls and iffy choice of paper for signage.

The Printer murderer in question. Which while scale, ended up too big.

And topped off with simple 17/18” radius reduced TTrak Corners. Used as opportunities to practice the static grass techniques I learned from the dutch dude I buy way too many static grass matts from.

Well I'm late again,

Going back to the Golden State posting.
I'm not sure if you are concerned about this or not.  The baggage dorm I believe is number 820.  It might also have Golden Rocket instead of Golden State on the name boards.

In addition the older Kato Burlington Diner is very close for Yucca, Sauharo (spelling), and Ocotillo which served briefly on the Golden State.

I've seen as-delivered pictures of the baggage-dorm lettered for Golden Rocket (as were the other original Golden Rocket cars, like Mirada)- and I lettered mine that way because it amused me to do so - but I'm almost certain the lettering was changed to Golden State  in service.  It certainly was on some of the other Golden Rocket cars.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

I did a double-take on this because it looks a little like a CR NACC CC12A glass hopper:

This is a car I would love to have.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away
