Nice trucks.    But $41 for a decoration is crazy

I mean. I'd consider it more to be a static model myself. Could definitely see the appeal of a non model railroader buying it for themselves.

Can someone elaborate as to the era of these?   I have searched and found a lot about weight limits but not much else.  The original Trainworx pdf is a dead link, if that had any insight.

I feel like the W900 would be the oldest of the three, yes?  Would that work for 1989?   Seems like the Kenworth would be too new for sure.

Anywhere else with these in stock yet? I've ordered a ton from NScale Supply recently, might want to spread that $$$ around if I can.

Doug,

The Kenworth W900A was produced from 1962 to 1982.  However, the paddle-style door latches depicted on the Trainworx model were not introduced until 1973.

The Peterbilt 379 was produced from 1987 to 2007.

The Kenworth T800 was produced from 1986 to the present.  Other than the aero flaring behind the cab, the Trainworx model is a pretty good match for the truck at the top of this page:  https://kenworth.com/trucks/t800/

So, all of the trucks were around in 1989!   :D

And, if you want to see a copy of the announcement poster, go to the N Scale Vehicles Association's Industry News page and scroll down to April 11, 2018.  https://nscalevehicles.org/news.php

Thanks!   I didn't recall that more aerodynamic look being around then, so that's good to know.  Probably only in for one anyway (assuming I can even get one) and I'll probably shoot for the Peterbilt since I have friends that work at one of their plants nearby.

Hopefully these hitting the shelves will mean the trailer announcements from like 5 years ago are also finally in the pipeline...

Wig-Wag added the dump trucks to their website today.  https://wig-wag-trains-cart.com/manufacturers/trainworx/twx-vehicles/

They are offering a 20% discount off of list price.

Did TW have a high side dump body available before ?  Or did people fabricate them for the custom builds I've seen ?  Good candidate for 3D prints perhaps.
