That is an amazing photo Ed!!!

I have a whole bunch like it too, and you know what's nuts?  There's no Photoshop involved.

Well then Sir, you have done a fantastic job!!! Your backdrop is pretty awesome. I think it makes the whole scene. :)

I know it was quite some time ago, but I recall that @u18b was looking for a photo that clearly showed the location of the horns on the Milwaukee Road Bi-Polar.   I found a good photo showing all 6 horns (yes, six!) on Facetube of all places:

That was a low blow, George.

I really think it needs a little more cowbell.   :D

Railwire drummer here.  I have a collection of cowbells the largest of which is a Latin Percussion Mambo cowbell.  I 99% retired from a 47 year legal career last August which gave me time to join the University of Illinois at Springfield Concert Band as Principal Percussionist.  Having a ball!  I also play at church and in a 60's/ 70's cover band in which I get to sing the Elvis songs.

At 72 I did something that I thought I would never do and bought an electronic drum set for the rock band gigs. It is far lighter to carry that my '70's era Ludwig Vista-Lite set.  I do use a traditional snare drum (a 1969 Rogers Dyna-Sonic) due to the limitation of the electronic snare drum.  Now I can still use brushes and make choo-choo sounds (required train content  to keep my friend, Peteski, happy!)
Best regards,

Roger

My Prince George Auxiliary made its inaugural run up to Dawson Creek today.  I wanted to verify that the crane and idler and the two coaches could safely traverse the helix which is a 16" radius (as opposed to the 18" everywhere else).  There were no issues, and railfans were on hand to capture the special movement on the upper deck:

Gearing up for an operating session soon, but for now have to put the throttles away and get back to the clarinets . . . . .

Making progress on the benchwork for my shelf layout.  Latest work is on the staging/fiddle yard.

Enquiring Australian minds would like to know which part of the BCR system you are planning on modelling.    Great use of a small space too!

A few things here and there... in between trying to find out where some professional stuff is landing in my schedule this year, I got a chance to start working on the new N Amoskeag Northern. Got the plan somewhat finalized and the first trackage in. Also have the 3D printers firing along banging out all the bridges and abutments that I am in need of in the first 40' of trackage. You might recognize some structures from the long ago show layout I had back around 2011-2012

We are looking east towards the Merrimack River and on the other side where the Mandrake Falls station will be. Here CP Simonds has the GRS mainline joining the CR mainline.

No mention I could find of a trespassing incident, but he was a serious railfan: https://www.classicfm.com/composers/dvorak/guides/antonin-dvorak-trainspotter/
