EMD SD40-2 – Florida East Coast (FEC)!



There are two different road numbers to choose from.

@ztrack Say, Rob, do you think there might be any chance of seeing the SD40-2 as BNSF units (H1, and/or ex-ATSF, ex-BN patch jobs)?

That's an excellent question.  I too would like to know if patch jobs are on the table.

I do know that the H1 scheme is NOT on their list.  They are doing the swoosh, which is maddening since there just hasn't ended up being a ton repainted as swoosh, and MTL already did a swoosh version in Z.   Upon learning of the H1 snub, a few of us asked if they would be doing the H1 and it was the standard "eventually" which in the case of the ES44's has been 7 years and counting.
