Scratching a Stamp Mill in HO

Hey fellow Narrow Gaugers.  Sometime in the near future I plan on scratch building a Stamp Mill/Mine for the OC&RG.  I have a pretty good idea of what I'm up against so I thought I would first ask a few questions here in The Rail Wire just to see if there might be some sources of information that I'm not aware of. 

What I'm hoping for is any blueprints or detailed drawings that might exist of this type of structure.  I have the 2003 Gazette which details Lowell Ross's build of his "Three Aspens" Mine & Mill.  Truth be known this may be all I need, but it does not share the size of scale lumber used.  Of course I would like to see other examples of Mines / Mills so that I have a good feel for how to move forward, and any detailed drawings would be awesome if they exist. 

I took a look at the Western Museum of Mining & Industry but wasn't able to find anything online to view.  Unfortunately it's too far of a drive to visit the museum in person easily.  I would be willing to bet that there is more than one Gazette that details this type of build, but I gather you need to know which specific publication has what you are looking for.  I got lucky and found the one I have at a train show or I wouldn't even know where to start.

And here’s a list of NGSL articles and plans, not all complete. I seem to remember a build article that was really good, it was O scale, but the details escape me. That said  the Three aspens build as you say might be all you need.

I've seen that video before a few years back.  A real nice primer on how the process works and what a fantastic Model!  I don't think mine will need to be near that extensive.  I did take a screen shot of the interior, that is what I'm most interested in.  The guts of that type of building and how it was constructed.  Ross's plans are good but lack interior detail, especial with support beams/bracing and wall construction. 

I'm sure I can make something up, but it would be nice to have some pics or plans of the interior.  Most of the pics I've found on the web show the stamps... but hey I can buy a kit for those at WW Models and plan to.

I couldn't get the link to open for me initially.  I think it was a fire wall - pop up thing.  I got it to open and was able to control F.

I think the mill at Bodie, CA is well documented and probably has formal drawings available for historical documentation.

The interior of the Bodie Mill definitely gives me some ideas of how the walls might have been framed.  I hope to get started on a mock-up sometime soon.

I like this one, I've found a couple similar ones but this gives the better view of the super structure.  Are there more pictures in the article, or did you just get lucky and find the one?  Section A implies there might be a section B, and possibly a section C and D!

@dcarrell8 I was cruising through some random NGSL Gazettes I’ve had in storage for a while here this evening and I have found out a John Hitzeman wrote a multi installment story called Ore Processing; A Modelers perspective, starting in the May/June 1984 issue. I only have the Jan/Feb 1985 article describing chutes and bins with detailed drawings (not to scale) that is very informative, but I’d hazard a guess and assume the rest of the installments are as good. May be worth looking into:
