Need roof shot of AS-16

I am working on a project, a Reading late model AS-16.  I have looked for a roof shot of any late model AS-16. I am trying to find out what type of grill/louvers they have on the top of the long hood.  Drawings would be good too.

Yeah Peter, I have wanted to see that pdf for years but I always get an error when clicking the link.  Does it open for you?  I may need to send the website an email to fix the link.

Marc:  I just tried that link.  It takes a few pages, but one finally arrives at a link for the PDF.  I first tried "Save Link As..." and it downloaded as a PDF file, although my browser claimed it was an HTML file.  Acrobat couldn't open it.  Firefox couldn't open it.  Notepad opened it - as a blank page.  There was nothing in it.

So, I tried opening it in the browser.  "Error 404: The requested page can't be found. "

So it isn't just you!

Aaron, yes I have them.  Close but no cigar.  The bridge shot is of an early AS-16.  Reading had 4 of the high hood later carbody AS-16's and that is the version I am working on (more room for the mechanism).

I have even looked for late model AS-616 roof shots cause I think the carbodies are pretty similar with no luck. 

Whatever is there does not stick up much at all, unlike the early version.

This is as close as I have gotten.  This is a late model AS-616.  I still can't really tell what is on the top front of the long hood.  Screens? Louvers?



The top of the carbody peaks in the center, but it looks like in this area it may be flatter.

Requires a Google account login, maybe even your account. There is a "public" setting, I think. I have a friend who shares files via Google Drive that don't require a login.

Thanks for the pdf!  It has some great info on the other two types of Reading AS-16's which I will use when I get to those.  Unfortunately, no info on the later carbody type so still need to find a picture or plans.

If the pdf file is not too large (IIRC <4MB) you can attach it to your post for posterity.  PDF is one of the file types which can be attached to the posts.
