Does Anyone Recognize This Connector?

Looking to try to find what male connector goes to it....





If unable to identify the exact connector, what kind of connector is this and what search terms should be used when looking for it?

It sure does! Especially the one facing the far side of the decoder board in the photo that's the 3rd from the bottom. That one has 5 contacts while the Atlas one has 4. However, I can't figure out what it is being used for on the BLI unit as nothing appears to be plugged into it. Is it for programming, perhaps?

I was supposed to send my SD9 off to peteski for evaluation and testing but, true to my form, I went on to other projects. That said, I did receive some correspondence back from Atlas confirming these connectors are indeed for lighting, although they had no info on connector type or availability.

My offer still stands, but I was also advised after last Springfield show to contact Atlas for a schematic for those bards (and I also moved onto other projects).

To answer the 'what is it for' question.. my guess is this is a multi-model decoder and used for ditch lights.

It is a SUH 0.8mm pitch connector.
DigiKey has the parts.

Russ, this type of a connector is in an unassembled state.  The plastic receptacle (shell) comes separate from the individual metal pins. After those pins are snapped into the plastic receptacle you end up with a functional connector you can then use.   The pins can be purchased (as shown here) with short wire pigtail crimped in the pin, or you could by the pins themselves ready to be crimped to your own wire.

The connector's crimp is inserted into the male housing noted above and that lines up the connection mating between the two. 

Not much use though if you don't know what the connections trace out to though.  Cough, Cough @peteski
