Whoa is right.  I've been meaning to sell off my MTL's and I guess those widebodies just lost a lot of value!

Really take note of the detail packages on the future releases. AZL went a bit crazy on the prototype details for this run. I don't think we have two raod names that are identical!

This is the release that's going to make me pick a direction in Z.  Dash 9's might have been the other nailbiter.

I acquired (horded) a bunch of BNSF in Z over the last 15 years.  The equipment is there, Washington State circa 2008 is modelable.  I've modified a bunch of models to fill gaps.  But the track issue wasn't solved in that time.  No Code 40 track and turnouts, therefore no big layout plans to utilize the equipement.

BNSF, BN, and ATSF SD-40-2's will be neat.  Do I justify the cost and wait out the other delays keeping Z from being forefront, or cut my ties now before I'm in too deep.

That's a lot to sell off too.

Argh.

Argh is right.  I'm in almost the exact same boat.  When AZL announced the Maxi-IV's, Spine Cars, and SD40-2's/T2's all right on top of one another, I was looking at about 10k of stuff and still no BNSF Heritage-II GE's. (I would take either ES44AC's, fudged ES44DC's, AC4400's, or ideally C44-9W's...the three former as stand-ins for the latter)

That's when I decided I wasn't going to drop that kind of coin for Z when I didn't have that GE and have started the move back to N.

I'm "hedging my bets" right now and buying a few Z things here and there...about 1/4 of what I was previously.  But the reality is....well over a year later (and approaching the 9 year mark in Z when we thought an AC4400 was immenant) and STILL no GE.   So man, do I keep up this madness?  I'm definitely in no-man's-land right now which is never good.

The answer logically is no.....but practically it is yes.
