There was a post on the N Gauge Forum a few days ago:

[/size]I had an email yesterday to say that the Spanish company Mabar is closing down on 30th November.Apparently, 14 months ago, they lost a considerable amount of money when their IT system was hacked and they have not been able to recover from this.It's always sad to lose another N Gauge producer, especially under such circumstances but there was a hint in their email that they might try again in the future.

Guys this one isn't as confusing as it's being made out to be. If it's stated as N scale with no suffixes it's for 9mm gauge track and as it's not Japanese or British it's 1:160. If it were Nn(insert number) there would be cause to be concerned. If it were JDM or GBR produced it wouldn't be 1:160.

Let's not forget N means Nine as in 9mm gauge.

I'll go so far as to say that I had been feeling like getting back into model railroading but this disappointment has killed that.
