Repainted Kato 20th Century Limited cars of post-war into pre-war scheme to match the Dreyfuss Hudson engine by using Circus City Decal.  I know some car types of pre-war are different from post-war, but that’s okay for me.
Thanks for watching.

Very nice modeling!  I prefer this scheme to the later (reverse color) scheme that Kato produced.  I would have loved if Kato did this scheme and also produced the Dreyfus Hudson to pull the train.

I know this is slightly different (no blue stripes), but it is such a beautiful loco I had to show it.

Hello Nate,
Thanks for your comment on the 20CL.
Yes, I like window tinting and made it on most passenger cars I have.

Hello peteski,
Thanks for your comment on the 20CL.
Your Dreyfus Hudson must be a brass model and is so nice while I have a classic ConCor model.
I also do hope Kato ( or BLI?) produces this engine in the near future.

Absolutely beautiful!
Very nicely done.

Jim

Thanks for all the comments, I have to say, disassembling these models really tries a man’s patience, with the glued in glass!

I’ve been into several of these and knowing how they’re put together makes your model all the more impressive.

Regarding the white wall tires on the station wagon, no secret here, the HO Sylvan Scale Models kits come with peel and stick white wall rings. You know, those HO guys have it so easy, there really is no challenge. We work harder in N scale.

Darn it. Haha.

Craig, who's printing all your decals ? Would it work with a white ring as a decal ? Get some printed in different sizes and give it a go.  :D

I have been working on an Atlas NE-6 caboose following @bbusey's N Scale Railroading article as a guide. I have opted to use a different approach to the coupler conversion. Rather than removing the entirety of the original coupler box, I have modified it to hold the MTL-2004 box. I then used the replacement covers provided (for use with the rapido couplers) and modified them to center and hold the coupler box.

That's cool.

This works for the NE-5 caboose as well ... of which I still have some to convert, so this will come in handy.  8)
