I've made a code 55 ttrak riser for flex track. Plugs right on into the regular unitrack. Not sure if this is of any use to you?

Oh yeh one other fix is needed. You solder the unirail joiners under your code 55 track and just take off the other joiners from the adjoining module. So you have 4 joiners going into female slots of the other module.

Orrr you can use ME code 70 as shown in the picture. I started using code 55 track and switched to the code70 ME track.

Yep, that's pretty much exactly what I did too.

Tell me about the screws you're using there to hold it down.

They look like the Marklin M track screws.
