Available with and without horse sounds

This is in unbelievably bad taste.

I respect your opinion, but why is this is bad taste vs. cattle and sheep?

Because in modern Western societies, horses are not bred and raised to be consumed, either as meat or raw materials for industrial processes.

As a kid growing up in Europe - my grandfather would regularly bring home horse meat sausages - its not uncommon - I never developed a liking for it ..

- according to Mr. Google

Quote
Horse meat is commonly eaten in many countries in Europe and Asia. It is not a generally available food in some English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, Ireland, the United States, and English Canada.

And in parts of Asia, dogs are considered fair game. Does that make it okay here? If you've ever spent any time around horses, you come to understand their intelligence and that, in a way, they are big dogs.

Third-world societies have a broader tolerance for what we consider to be unusual protein sources. It comes with being poor, basically. You do what you have to.

The fact is that when horses were commonly used as work animals there were a lot more horses, and it made good economic sense to make use of their remains.

Yes, today horses are more commonly kept as pets, but that's a pretty recent change.

I don't disagree with you Mike .. I wouldn't knowingly have horse or dog either - but here in the US we eat squirrel, possum, bear, moose, deer, sushi, snails, crawdads, eels, etc ..

My wife has a story about a fellow who did odd jobs for her. He was proud of his "bush meat" tradition, and offered her a taste of his lunch - squirrel stew. She said it was pretty unpleasant.

Rabbit is delicious.

Now, if anyone has a use, either culinary or industrial, for the mutant giant groundhog in my yard, you are welcome to him, free of charge, capture at your own risk....he is the King Kong of groundhogs.

Hmmm....maybe there is a market for a "mutant giant groundhog" car for carnival trains.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Groundhogs are just really big (and annoying) ground squirrels.  So any squirrel recipe should work...

We also have a fairly large groundhog at our studio (layout building) property. After a couple of years he or she has become accustomed to our comings and goings, so my wife talks to it like it was a pet. As of this week, it is on my radar to be dealt with. It lived under the tool shed until making a big excavation under the foundation of the main building last Monday. I've pushed most of the dirt and gravel back into the hole and am hoping that it decided to burrow elsewhere, but if it digs there again I'm calling the critter-capture guy.

Would you buy this for your mail and express train?
(Attachment Link)
https://americacomesalive.com/elmers-glue-the-surprising-story/

Or this..
(Attachment Link)

Absolutely NOT! That Elmer's logo only came into use in 2007. It would need to be:

1943-1951

or:

1951-1962

Cascorez continued to be used as the product name for industrial glues after 1951, but Elmer's was the consumer name. BTW: Elmer is the cow's (actually a bull) name.

Neither had I. So I looked it up. Okay... yuck. Now I can't remember the specific words, but that's 'cuz it's a contrived euphemism and is completely forgettable. Is it something that's really entered the popular lexicon?

Probably only used among Those people .
