BLI Stock Car Announcement - "Acme Glue Factory"

I absolutely wouldn't buy one of these, but I did laugh a little.

I laughed mainly due the fact that horse/glue jokes have been around for at least a century (cartoons, slapstick comedy, etc). Acme to me also references in part the Road Runner cartoons from Warner Bros.

Should have BLM logo on them . They were shipping starving , un-watered Mustangs to become glue back in the 50's I think . Never saw cars with their logo , but they were cracking the whip behind the scenes .

It took me a second but I assume you mean Bureau of Land Management.. not the other BLM..

The Gays stole the rainbow , Microsoft stole the search word Vista , and now the Blacks stole BLM from under their feet . There should be laws against this IMO .

Well, when I started in the hobby 30ish years ago (HO then), I made a fictional RR called Mountain and Pacific (MAP). Had decals made and everything and I was more recently going to decorate some N scale cars with the really cool (BN-esque) MAP logo decal I designed when the MAP acronym was hijacked for...ahem...something else entirely. Guess that's not happening now!

Neither had I. So I looked it up. Okay... yuck. Now I can't remember the specific words, but that's 'cuz it's a contrived euphemism and is completely forgettable. Is it something that's really entered the popular lexicon?
