Have a Railpictures Reject.

(Attachment Link)

What was it rejected for? Soft focus? Not properly lit or whatever they call it when it's not perfect lighting?

It's always the same few things with these guys, lighting, sharpness, and horizon, but I suppose they are pretty common issues. I get the contrast and under sharpened, both east to fix, but I don't see it as being overtly unlevel.

especially since it looks like the track is going downhill on the right

The above pic of the U30C paperweight had me looking for my pics of same, found the shot from 2018 below. I enjoy the soft lighting, the open vista, and the big sky. The power can pound sand though.

I guess the screener missed the part about the location as being 'the slide'. Whenever possible I like to use buildings as a reference for level, and with ample to choose from here I just don't see the unlevel.

I'm not too upset about it. I look at posting on the site as a game. Sometimes ya win, sometimes you don't.

I've done ok and I'm getting better.

You know what was a day FULL of winning though?

With that site. I think part of it depends on who you are.  To my untrained eye, I've seen approved photos from 'cool kids' that look worse than rejected photos from people who aren't in the 'cool kid' group.

Yeah, that certainly seems to be a thing.

I stopped submitting pics to any site, just sort of lost my foam mojo, so I don' actually go out anymore. It's nice to see a train, and a type of freedom in not feeling compelled to shoot everything I see. I actually get to watch them now. Except when I'm on MRL... I go right back to rabid foamer as long as the power is MRL. GEVO's taking over set me free, lol.

EBT looks like a fun time. 'We love the EBT too, but please no trespassing'... it's sad that people have to do that but an unfortunate reality. I've chased CP's 2816 a number of times, but swore I'll never do that again account the crowds. It's a nuthouse with some folks incapable of respecting a photo line, the traffic, the odds of getting a shot without a gaggle of foamers in it, not for me. I've no issue with other foamers in general, but one's and twos only please.
