OO34 is a long address that can be accessed and run on an NCE system. Digitrax will not run along address <127.  You can program the short address to be 34 on an NCE system and a Digitrax system. Both will run address34 as long as CV29 is set to run the short address. Both long and short addresses can be programmed but 0034 will only run on your NCE system. Simple fix is to program 34 to CV1 and change CV29 to use the short address.

That's exactly what I mentioned earlier! great minds think alike! 
Since both addresses co-exist, simply flipping the long address bit in CV29, one can flip between the long and short address.

If readdress all three engines 3434 will that also work? It would be larger than 127.  Jim

That is correct.  3434 can only be a long address, so there is no conflict or compatibility problems.  It will work on any DCC system.
