This is great news. I’m in.
We were just talking last weekend about how we needed an alternative to the Shapeways shell.
We’ll have to see when they get here and how it might work with the WoT shell but the Loksound 58751 Atlas legacy decoder worked great to add sound in my model with the Shapeways shell and VO1000 mechanism.

I wish they had gone one step further, and done the H-12-44TS (the ATSF terminal switcher version with an additional short hood).
But I will probably be in for one or two of the ATSF version of the H12 as is.  We'll see if I have anything left in the bank after the new roof. Crew starts on Monday.

Lucky timing for me, I was about to buy the Shapeway shell.

I'm interested in a H10-44, from some searching I think the MILW or B&O shell will work.

Yep. I think those are what I am talking about.
Did you print those yourself? Are they available in the USA? Since you are showing them, and there are more than 3 (there were only 3 prototype units), I assume it is a commercial venture or you made some extras for members of a club.
What chassis will you be using?

Sorry for the barrage of questions. But I've been trying to figure out how to kitbash one. I recall a conversion here some months ago, did not know anyone had produced shells.

Hi Tom,
I purchased a cad file and had them printed in China. The quality is far better than Shapeways. They could be possibly become available in the US, I'll PM you. I got more printed than I needed in case there was any damage in transit - New Zealand is a long way from China. They will fit on an Atlas FM 16-44 mechanism. In a month or two I'll be casting proper truck sideframes from the Minitrix FM H12-44. So the idea is you file the detail off the atlas trucks and glue the cast resin sideframes on.

Some months ago I stared a conversion thread - Minitrix FM H12-44 to FM H12-44TS, then I found the CAD file so I stopped and got them printed.
