Yep, I really want a number of I1s for my transition Era layout. Keeping my fingers crossed!
There were 125 J's and they stayed out west. There were nearly 600 I's and they were pretty much system wide. If BLI releases the J, I'm getting one. If BLI releases the I, I'm getting 2 or 3, maybe 4. We know BLI marches to their own drum, so I'm expecting the J first...
Yeah, but this type of logic has NEVER driven model development, sadly.By this logic, we should have four different manufacturers making the H8-10 series instead of the GG1.

I would suspect that when they do the J it will coincide with the C&O T1.
B&M Berkshire. A very unique locomotive (which also served the SP and Santa Fe) was just announced in HO.
I would love to see a B&M coffin feedwater heater Berkshire in N scale! Hopefully with see-through drivers (and as Stealth version).
It was good to see in Reno the Reading T1 has see-through drivers.Marc
