Yep, I really want a number of I1s for my transition Era layout.  Keeping my fingers crossed!

I agree and I think most PRR modelers would have the same buying pattern. But if an H came first, I wouldn't be too upset.

I hope they do an H series loco. Not enough small to medium steam available in N in my opinion. If they do an H, I know I'm in for a few!

There were 125 J's and they stayed out west. There were nearly 600 I's and they were pretty much system wide. If BLI releases the J, I'm getting one. If BLI releases the I, I'm getting 2 or 3, maybe 4. We know BLI marches to their own drum, so I'm expecting the J first...

Yeah, but this type of logic has NEVER driven model development, sadly.

By this logic, we should have four different manufacturers making the H8-10 series instead of the GG1.

At least run a poll asking what product modelers would most likely purchase. Scale train just ran one and one was ran for the F&C PRR project car. Just don't have a pre-reservation meter, lol.

I guess us B&O guys are the red headed step children. They have a Y6b, make an EL-5. If they make a 2-10-2, how about a Big Six. Bmann made the EM-1 and it sold well. At least two runs with 8 rd#’s.

This is what they did in HO. I guess if it was profitable, they could try the same strategy in N.

Just saw that, it is an interesting choice.  Good to see BLI producing less common locomotive models rather than reruns of the standard, popular models.
