Good to see some 70s era bulkheads!
The Railwire is not your personal army.

I am seeing pictures of these still in service, but many have the ends shortened.

Are all of these initial paint schemes pre-1990s?
Gotta love bulkheads, looking forward to any 1990+ schemes.

Was this a case of the flat car being leased but the railroads owning the bulkheads? Similar to autoracks? The bulkheads are lettered for various railroads. If so, was there some kind of a pool at the time?

Edit *although only the CRIP one seems to have any distinguishing markings.

Yes, but the conspicuity stripes makes them this side of 2005 era (not sure exact year they were required).

The TT logo and original cars are of interest.

https://www.scaletrains.com/n-scale/n-scale-freight-cars/rivet-counter-n-scale-bsc-f68ah-bulkhead-flat-car.html

There is one car in one number offered with conspic stripes. The page allows you to filter by decade.

Some online retailers carry scaletrains. I believe spring creek does, and Hiawatha has some of their product in stock. Not sure who else.

The only one in the initial run of cars is the ScaleTrains SXT38974 TTPX 80098 Oxide Red Patch with yellow conspicuity stripes and white TTX speed lettering.
