Painted unlettered! Great for a freelanced short line or regional. Maybe they will offer some painted unlettered rebuilt Alcos and geeps if they do those in N scale. These really look amazing.

Would be a cool head canon if the Soo bought some cabooses from big brother across the border!

The CP vans ran from Emerson to Glenwood in runthru service, at least that's some Soo line goodness!

I’ll be going for a CP and ONR for sure. 

As seems to so often be the case, I purchased an Atlas ONR caboose at a train show just 3 weeks ago, and installed my own track-powered led lighting in an old CP caboose just a few days before this announcement.   The Rapido offerings will be SO much nicer though!

Technically the RDC was the model to determine their continued development of N scale models. Apparently the reserves on the RDC are encouraging.

I preordered 2 cabooses from this run, an ONL one, and a white, undec. I thought I had ordered a red undec, but guess I accidently ordered the wrong one. Oh well. I'm still waiting for the payment e-mail from them.
As for the RDC. I ordered one also, just a undec, because all the roadnames they have don't really fit my stuff. I might order a BC Rail unit just for fun, have not decided yet.

Preliminary observations have received 4 units.(2 CP ,1 Soo and 1 BC)
Caution access to batteries by removing cupola not easy!!!!
No batteries included. Type of battery not indicated in documentation.
Not sure I will use the lighting.

All units look good , roll well. One unit had an axel loose in box.

Why do they insist on using batteries? It's not like there isn't an immediate, unlimited, and made-for-this-purpose power source right there.

While I don' like paying for the lighting I'll never use, I appreciate that it's a battery that isn't included so I do not have to fret about removing them. Looking forward to my little fleet
