Jason, thanks for the report.

In your conversation with Intermountain, did they say anything about cleaning up some of the spaghetti wiring on the F units? Is that the result of everything being hand wired for the show?  Looks like there are about 3' of extra wire in there, and no color code in this day and age is unusual.

I asked.  That is definitely a pre-production mock-up and was done so they can get some testing in Longmont before the product goes into production.

Thanks for the report. Glad to hear that the reefers and the tunnel motors will be coming to N. I better start saving my pennies.
Anybody talk to JTC?

Another 60' flat.  That could be useful. And at least it's a different prototype than the Micro Trains car.

But that's not the most interesting part of the JTC announcement... did you see the coupler and rendering of the coupler?

The VTTX container flat is most welcomed, a pretty common sight for several decades.

Yes, but as I don't know anything about them I figured I'd let others chime in.  Anyone have any information on the VRK coupler?

It was Charlie Vlk  (that is an "el" in the middle).  The coupler he designed was officially called RMR coupler (after his company name).

Variants of his coupler have been used by Hornby/Arnold and BLI.

Thanks, I figured it had to be a rough prototype to test the board.  Hopefully all goes well.

I wondered if that was his.  The "R" in the title threw me off.

There's some 2020-2023 shots in garbage service around Little Rock:

Otter Valley Railroad was there and had flyers for a couple of N scale cars.

Can someone direct me to where exactly the information about the VTTX cars is on the JTC website?    I've used up my bag of tricks to no avail.   And I don't see them on any e-tailer's site for pre-order.  I don't even see a post about them on the referenced FB page either.

Will JTC make the coupler available in bulk? I know ask JTC.   What has been the experience with the VRK couplers.  my minimal effort search yielded next to nothing.
