This was the origin of my comment to @Dave V about Bachmann being like the Chat GPT of model railroad manufacturers. Their actions SEEM human, but are still a bit chabuduo.

Basically, it's the reason that Chinese manufacturing is both so cheap and has the reputation it does.

For anyone who didn't look it up, it basically means "Good enough".

After looking it up, I wonder how China can make its space program work. 

Maybe they only apply that to customers outside the government, or may be their country?

Still a generalization.  I have no problems having my paint specs matched to perfection or having my products manufactured to spec, and I don't have my own factory.

That's the Mandarin pronunciation but it exists in the culture.  That's why I laugh at everything Made In China as I know somewhere along the process; conception, design, manufacture, packaging, shipping, etc., there is at least a few "good enough" at a minimum!
