Heritage loco 7011 was the lead unit.
It was like an organ rejecting the new body?
Oh, one less script unit, that sucks.
Both 7011 and 7005 cut up on site.
Dang. CP has north of 700 AC drive GE's and only 60 SD70ACU's, so of course two ACU's get written off here. And the script units are so darned nice looking.
there's little left of the cab.
No word yet on 9813 but it is reported the frame is damaged and there's little left of the cab.
Lots of stored AC4400's
Rebuild fodder to circumvent tier 4 regs.
They could pull one to replace 9813 There's still a few SD90MAC's available for rebuild (ex UP's), but seems unlikely that anymore will get done as they're plagued with issues... mostly software related iirc.
The Railwire is not your personal army.
While they did have some oddities (occasionally they would put the train into penalty when they shut down) they are mostly solved now, and I wouldn't describe them as plagued. They are decent road power, they just suck for switching, but to be fair the 8500s suck for switching too.Not sure what we will do for power, they put all rebuilds on hold due to the alleged power surplus on KCS, and all their company releases are all about hydrogen so time will tell.
What are they doing with all the DC stuff? There's several hundred 70M's rusting away in Salt Lake right now and I'm sure elsewhere.
