This thread started almost 2 years ago to modify an MTL 65XXX series tankcar by adding a platform. It just was an "I wish there was ...." and it took off, then went into hiatus and now is in production.
COOL!  If the price is reasonable, I’d like to order a set!

Thank you!

Jim

I'd like 6 total, not sure how many is in a set, got lost in the chat...

OK, since it is now clear a set is enough for 3 tank cars, then I only need two sets.

I need to replace the details on 2 club tankers that are more modern.  What is the diameter of the circular opening in the middle of the platform?  I'll check on Wednesday and see if it would work for my purpose.

I'm still confused about boB's pricing structure.  He mentioned that he sells them in threes.  So by 18 sets you mean actually 54 individual platforms or 6 sets of three?
. . . 42 . . .

I'm still confused ......

Sorry Pete. Eighteen would be 6 sets of 3, but I have not got clarification to what C.V. is wanting. More to be revealed once the items come back from the etcher and I'm ready to invoice. I ordered over 300 so I am OK with either way.

Several PM's asked why a set of 3? As the other thread said, LIMITED re-entry back into things. I'm happy to sell off existing left over stock, but new items takes a lot of investment and time. Design time, Packaging time, Sales time, Shipping time, etc. Time that due to my new job is not limitless. Packaging in a set of three will lose some sales I admit, but keep me from using up my resource for just one TC Platform. Trust me, I had 1000's of sales for a three dollar item that took me away from family and friends at night after work and on weekends. I lost moments I'll never get back and it was a reason I have been hesitant to return. I am hoping that small changes like this will make it worth while to return selling items and still be fair to the buyer.
