Hi, my name is Brian, I have been a friend of Mikes' for many years and helped him with the N-Scale Weekend. This past Friday Mike had a stroke and on Saturday he had emergency surgey to remove a clot at his brain stem. Now we are waiting to see if the swelling comes down and see if he has any brain damage. He is on a ventilator, he can give a thumbs up and move his head. Please keep Mike in your prayers. When more information becomes available I will let you know.

Here's Mike in 2012.

He's in the maroon shirt.  That might be Brian with him.  I'm not close to my computer just now, the photo is from an article I wrote about N Scale Weekend for Pam.  I can't recall if she ever ran it.
There isn't a nicer guy than Mike.  He put his heart and soul into the hobby, and he made N Scale Weekend an amazing experience whether you're a fine Scale master modeler, or a train set on the coffee table guy.

Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Most recent N-Scale Weekend in September 2022.  Mike is in the lower left.

The full picture.  Mike was not in it because he was running around making sure the event was running smoothly and that everybody was having a good time.  That's Mike for ya'!!!!

We will be praying for Mike's recovery.
My wife and I have been friends of Mike's for many years and have had the honor of working with him doing the auctions.
