I'll post this because there is a charity of choice here for donations:

Mike’s creation of the N Scale Weekend was a great service to our hobby. He will be missed.

I wish I had time to squeeze it in.
Alas, I'll leave room for his family and close friends.
I'll mark the occasion by JFRTM.

OK, this may be off the wall, and just maybe Joe will see this.... but if we wanted to do a commemorative car for the next  show, I'm thinking a reprint of this MT tank car with "M L Phillips" car 2023 instead of "Phillips 66" i wouldn't be that much of a stretch now would it......

That was a Micro-trains 65130.   There are no micro-scale decals, I searched, maybe somebody else has done it though.

Mike always had CMR do his N Scale Weekend show cars. Might want to discuss a memorial car with them.

Just got this reply from Aric Hartle (CMR):

"You can post on our behalf.

CMR Products would be happy to produce honoring the memory of Mike Philips.  We appreciate everything he has done for us and the N Scale hobby.
I've reached out to the Altoona Club to coordinate this year's car or cars."
