You guys would know more than I, but the Trainworx gons that I bought a few weeks ago have FVM wheels. What version or what they are called? IDK

FWIW, about 50 hours of run time on my mainline. (21" super elevated curves, Peco 55.

A "western modeler" that also runs NS.

Got my wheel order today
I didnt open the bags yet but did inspect them
Nice color application for those that dont want to paint the typical aftermarket shiny silver wheels
Glad to report that they appear to be the exact same 3301 machining as their earlier runs
Looking forward to even more of our backordered products (from multiple manufacturers) to return to the pipeline

Trainworx cars always have been equipped with standard (wider tread) FVM wheels, even during periods FVM wheels weren't commercially available.

Same thoughts.  Also no loose wheels in the bags.  [Fingers crossed]

@DeltaBravo I picked up a 12 pack of 33" IM wheels today, marked for MT trucks and they fit/roll fine

Wonduring if you simply got a bag that is mislabeled.  See if they work in Atlas/Accumate trucks, that's what I put my 36" into that weren't labeled specific manufacturer

Any news on Resistor wheelsets?
If I have to I’ll make my own, but I’d prefer not…

I used to be in the same boat. But then I got into the groove and can knock out as many cars as I can fit on my workbench in an evening. I should really write that up (and then don my kevlar codpiece for when Max starts busting my stones, lol  ).

Why would he?  Conductive paint is perfect for low current applications like installing 10,000 ohm resistors  in wheelsets.  :D

Yes, I know you were trolling, and so am I.  ;)

Because Max does the math (and keeps me honest).

It's one of the many reasons I like him.

I picked up my order of the new FVM/ST wheels and I'm very happy with them so far.  Here is a quick review based on a few bulk packs of 3301's and 3601's.  The packaging is the same as before except that there is now a Scale Trains logo (with their old address) on the back of the hang tag:

The actual wheel tooling appears identical to the original FVM semi-scale wheels:

So far, the quality control appears to be excellent.  There were no loose wheels in any of the 4 bulk packs, and I have yet to find a wobbler, so I'm very happy with them.  I think I'm pretty well stocked for a while...:

  The only thing I'm low on at the moment are resistor equipped 3301's, but I can roll my own when the time comes.
