The fine scale metal wheels have been received into stock, and shipping of pre-orders to dealers and historical societies has commenced.  New orders will be processed once all pre-orders have been shipped.

Looking to pick up a few packs of the new Atlas type. It seems aside from ESMC directly, MB Klein is the only online store that seems to even have them listed. I guess the other retailers will start listing them only once they receive them.

N Scale Supply was selling "bulk packs" - the twelve axle blisters, just a bunch at once - but I don't recall if there was any pricing advantage.

Yes, NSS is offering a slight discount on their “bulk” offerings.

Demand isn’t high enough yet for us to start offering what will be 48-packs. But everything is in place for when that day comes.

N scale supply has started taking preorders for them.

I ordered a bulk-pack of each of the four styles an hour ago, from NSS, in hopes of getting my order in before they're sold out!

Both the 33' and the 36" ESM N Scale wheels with .553" axles for Atlas trucks are now in stock at MB Klein.

I got my first order of the .553 in and put them on some of my ER bulkhead flats, gons and FBOXs.
I had an issued with BLMA, ESM and Targent .540 wheels being to loose on this cars and now my issue is resolve.
Getting a bulk pack or two from N-Scale supply.

If people are willing to state which models they’ve installed our wheels on, we’ll comprise a list of compatible models for each of our four wheelsets and post it on the website for reference.

My experience, I got some of the .553s recently. I put them in several Bluford hoppers that did not roll particularly freely and it improved things quite nicely (I think the original wheels were FVM wides maybe?).  I also like to use InterMountain trucks with the dummy couplers cut off. I use these, incidentally, because they have a slightly recessed bolster that (usually) eliminates the need for a shim on body mounted 1015s and the bolster is centered, not offset like MTs. FVM .553 wheels were hit or miss on working well with these but the ESM wheels worked very well on all the 12 or so I changed.

Same results using them in Atlas trucks including the friction bearing caboose trucks.
Same on the dozens of .540s I have used in MT trucks.

I have a movable layout that has wheels, and since converting to ESM wheels, I have to make sure it is dead level if I move it or the cars will coast on there own as they are so free rolling. With a mix of other brand metal wheels (mostly FVM semi scale, some IM and the ones that come on Bluford hoppers) this was not something that happened very much. Not scientific but noticeable to me, FWIW.

I have never had a wobbly wheelset or any wheels come loose.  They have been consistently the best I have used.

Very glad the have the .553s now. Thanks Bryan!
