You can see the new models Atlas is previewing at Trainfest this weekend here:

https://atlasrr.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d874482234a50e1de0f984690&id=ce88e9e966&e=989356c92e  For some unknown reason Firefox has questions about the security of this link.  :?

The preview includes both HO and N models.  I am particularly happy to see more of the Ford F-250/F-350 sets as well as a new release of Ford Fairmonts!   :D

I wish they would bring their modern bulkhead flatcars to  "N"

Sound equipped H16-44’s! I already have three of the original run SOU/AGS ones, so I may be able to model the whole fleet with this release. Might do some shell swapping and convert my old engines to sound.

I do not understand why Atlas has not done Southern’s square window H16-44’s in Green. They were numbered 2146-2155. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

It's like Atlas said, "What can we re-run that most N scalers could care less about."

Carter:  My old Firefox didn't question the link at all, but all it does is download a PDF file!

I might pick up an H16-44 in UP to service a cement plant. Plans are to compress the Southwest Portland Cement loading operation at Victorville, which had ex-UP and ex-SP H16-44s for switching and running the line between the limestone quarry and the plant. Paint scheme was basically UP's, substituting a seafoam green for the yellow. If I wanted to go that far with it, SWPC added big filter arrays to keep the concrete dust out.

Interestingly, SWPC also acquired ex-UP SDP-35s to replace the FMs.

ADM PD hoppers for me. Kind of strange they didn't run Wonder Bread.

I think someone did a cut and paste from an HO ad for the H15-44:

Quote
Atlas Master® Series Silver Additional Features:
• NMRA 21-pin plug for DCC (Decoder-ready)

The 21-pin plug ESU decoders are all HO sized. No way would one fit under the hood of an N H15-44.

The Rock Island H15-44 is of interest. My big question is will we see it before 2025?

I know you're sort of our resident expert on these cars.   Can you comment on Build Dates/Eras for the schemes in Atlas' PDF?

WoW !! I get to buy a 52ft DL&W Gondola. Mr. Wallet? Are you still here?
Oh it seems you put on some weight since last I used saw you.
I'd like to help, but we only need to buy 1 52ft  DL&W Gondola.
Maybe someday, MT will make something we need.

I recall seeing the Grace and FCC catalyst cars floating around in the early 2000s, so those schemes are probably also good for the late 1990s if you removed the moron-markings.
