About a year ago I complained about the quality of the coupler installation and the wheel sets dropping off.
Decided to replace with MT couplers and wheelsets.
Now almost 2 years since I got them I realize that the town names on the cars do not match the car numbers per prototype info!
Might try and change town names if I can find the right ones. Microscale has a decal set but it doesnt have my towns.
Unfortunately not like stamps when a misprint is worth more money. :)
Will probably live with it.
Has any one else noticed this problem on their cars?

PS my cars are High Prairie marked Breton and Girouxville marked Rycroft

If the decals don't have the names you want, would it be easier to change the numbers to match the names on the cars?  At least they'd then be correct, even if not the ones you wanted.

Isn't the Intermodal car the wrong car to begin with?

The PWRS car would be more accurate.. and likely have correct names.

I think Intermountain did do some runs for PWRS. Were they accurate ?
As for changing the numbers more work than changing the name. Will live with it.
Did anybody else not notice this problem?

My car from Intermountain directly would have been made by National Steel Car so would not be exactly like the Hawker Sidley cars.
Who is making this run for NARC/PWR; Intermountain or someone else, don't know.
Thanks for the info.
Canadian grain cars is a subject on its own!

The intermountain model is a National Steel Car 4550 cuft prototype.
The PWRS-NARC model is a Hawker-Siddeley 4550 prototype.

Alberta had both NSC and HS versions. - http://nakina.net/private/alnx.html
Saskatchewan only had HS versions. - http://nakina.net/private/sknx.html
Canadian Wheat Board had NSC, HS, and Marine Industries versions. - http://nakina.net/private/cnwx.html
